The idea for Tribe West was born shortly after our children. As we carefully shaped our home into a safe, comfortable space for their little hands and feet to explore, one crucial task loomed—cushioning our hardwood floors.
There were several of those interlocking foam mats in bright colors available. But like many families, we craved quality pieces that fit seamlessly into our aesthetic—something beautiful, as well as durable and toxin-free. Made for children, but something the grownups could enjoy, too. We couldn’t find it, so we created it.

OUR MISSION
Tribe West’s mission is to provide families with high-quality play mats with purpose. Made of naturally hygienic and harmless materials, our pieces are designed to give your tribe a chic, clean, and comfortable indoor or outdoor surface to roam freely. Our durable and portable products allow little adventures to unroll anywhere, without compromising refined style or healthful living.
Tribe West also supports the gifted artisans around the world with a fair-wage percentage of the sale of their designs, as well as annual donations to our charitable partners.
